“Innovate, learn, and empower.”
The charge he set on the seal of the DTMS Lab.
Dr. Chi Che is an educational-leadership academic. The work connects curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment with AI literacy, graduate readiness, and leadership practice. He is a lecturer and an alumnus of Chulalongkorn University. Before Chiang Mai, the appointments ran through Thailand’s neighboring scholarly world in another direction: Poland, Chongqing, Chengdu, and a vice-deanship in China.
The doctorate asked a manager’s question. Academic management innovation based on the concept of meta skills, for private higher education institutions in Sichuan. Meta-skills — the master skills that unlock other skills — were not treated as a student slogan. They were treated as something an institution has to design, prioritize, and evaluate. The DTMS Lab is that dissertation given a room, a seal, a set of graduate students, and a public series of films.
At Payap he leads both the M.A. and the Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. The programs are new: approved in June 2025, opened for recruitment and instruction in Academic Year 2025, Semester 2, with no graduates yet. The lab’s first impact is therefore not an alumni story. It is a way of working, begun in public on 26 October 2026, with ELers from both programs signing for projects they will share.

Meta-skills and graduate readiness
What a graduate can actually do, and which of those capacities a university chooses to build first.

Work the lab stands on
Sixteen peer-reviewed journal articles are listed on drchiche.com, eleven of them in 2026, with the dissertation kept separate. These five are the ones the laboratory’s films and briefing cite directly. A further line — teacherpreneurship as a meta-skill for transformational leadership — is the research brief in the film series.
